Foursome Group Training

This training focuses on core stability, strength, and explosiveness that is needed to create powerful repeatable golf swing. The program promotes muscle strength, balance, flexibility, speed and explosiveness throughout your body while targeting muscles in the golf swing.

This is a group training class for four people doing a golf specific circuit workout while benefiting from instruction given in small classes. Group training is a fun and a total body workout addressing all the major components in golf: Agility, Strength, Power, Flexibility, and Endurance

Although the session is conducted as a group, you can expect our Golf Fitness Specialist to tailor the workout to each golfer. Individuals of varying fitness levels can participate in the same group session.

Curriculum:

In your first session we will assess your body and how it moves during your golf swing. This evaluation will be about 2 hours broken down into three main sections. The first testing is a physical screen that gives us an idea of how your body moves. The second section is a high tech assessment of your golf motion. This gives you the ability to see your golf swing from a whole new perspective. The third section of testing is a workout to help understand your fitness level.

During the next three sessions you will be actively involved in 60 minute workouts. A typical workout includes a 5 minute warm up to begin your session and 5 minute cool down to end. The workout is a series of exercises designed to develop the different aspects of your fitness to help your golf game. The first of these sessions focuses on balance and stability. The second focuses on strength and endurance. The third deals with power and speed. You will be given a handout after each of these sessions with a stretch or exercise to reinforce what you worked on in that session.

The final session takes what you have learned in the previous three sessions and puts it all together. This workout will help you feel stronger, more confident, and help you feel better when you play golf, as well as your everyday life.
